URYU UCX-AF

Transducerized Pulse Tools

Lighter, quieter, more compact tool with less vibration and low reaction for greater operator comfort. High Speed of 4,800 RPM increases productivity while the patented Phoenix pulse unit increases output by 35% compared to previous UDP series tools.

The Results Are In:

"Very low noise and very little reaction to the operator"

"We are very happy with the ergonomics of the UCX tools. The tools are very smooth and updating the plant from the iAC Controller to the new iCC Controller was a seamless transition."

- Engineering Manager

"The UCX Series is very accurate..."

"UCX-AF tools are very easy to setup with the new ICC controller. It is easy to find the practical working range of the tool compared to catalog specifications."

- Engineering Manager

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have additional questions regarding specs, potential applications, and/or scheduling a Demo, please reach out to us using the contact form below.

Which tools are compatible with the iCC Controller?

The AcraDyne iCC Controller was developed specifically for the URYU UCX-AF Transducerized Pulse Tools. If you are interested in exploring our other Gen IV Controllers and their compatible tools, click here.

How does the UCX-AF differ from the UDP MC Series?

Compared to the UDP-A700MC, the UCX-AF700 features a smaller size resulting in lower weight overall, a highly durable rotating shaft, and newly developed Torque & Angle Sensors

How does the Torque & Angle Sensor work?

A non-contact type of strain gauge is used for torque measurement, and an ultra-thin encoder is used for angle measurement. Despite its small size, it has excellent vibration resistance and noise characteristics, and has high availability.

What is the Torque Range for the UCX-AF Series?

There are 4 models in the UCX-AF Series:

- UCX-AF600L Torque Range: 4-20 Nm
- UCX-AF600 Torque Range: 10-40 Nm

- UCX-AF700 Torque Range: 20-60 Nm

- UXC-AF900 Torque Range: 30-72 Nm

What are the Ergonomic benefits of the UCX-AF

When it comes to Pistol-style Pulse tools, a common operator complaint is too much torque reaction with competitor tool models at higher torques with competitor tool models. The UCX-AF has been specifically designed to minimize vibration and torque reaction in addition to being lighter weight and low-noise.

PRODUCTIVITY

Fast tool speeds of 4,800 RPM & increased output of 7-12 fastenings per minute

ERGONOMICS

Light Weight & Low Vibration keeps operators comfortable

RELIABILITY

Consistent performance, extended maintenance cycles, and uptime

QUALITY

Advanced iCC data analytics for real-time quality control

Reliability + Durability

Newly designed Phoenix Pulse Unit with fewer moving parts. Up to 400% extended maintenance intervals for maximum performance in comparison to UDP tools. Enhanced DC Fan keeps the tool cool while allowing for increased fasteners per minute for each model.
